This species is highly active, with individuals frequently on display and interacting with their environment. As with all species there can be great variety in sizing when mature. Jump Lab has observed females reaching up to 20mm and males up to 18mm. Mopsus mormon is found routinely in parts of NSW, QLD, NT and WA. Additionally, there is evidence of limited observations in VIC. Currently there are two male colour morphs recognised in the literature; Viridis and Niger.
