Designed for jumping spiders, with a focus on welfare, usability and long term durability.
The APEX features a front opening hinged door, allowing easy access for feeding, cleaning and maintenance, without disturbing webbing or established hammocks. Cross ventilation is maximised through a staggered pattern to promote consistent airflow throughout the enclosure. Carefully designed buffer zones remain free of ventilation, ensuring structural integrity and allowing the enclosure to function effectively in both arboreal and terrestrial orientations. Constructed from solid 5mm panels, the APEX is built for strength, clarity and long term use. The internal lip design prevents webbing from being damaged during opening and closing, supporting natural behaviour and reducing stress. The opening has been designed to be as large as possible, making decorating, maintenance and full enclosure cleans simple and accessible. The APEX can be used as a standalone enclosure or paired with our optional, switchable coloured panels, giving you full control over both function and aesthetics.

Enclosure preparation and care
Before use clean the enclosure thoroughly with water and allow to air dry. Particular care should be taken around any magnets. Do not soak magnetic components and dry them promptly if they become wet. Avoid excessive moisture, high heat and direct sunlight which can warp your enclosure. Acrylic enclosures are not suitable for bio active setups due to the high levels of moisture.
Modular background panels
These enclosures feature optional interchangeable background panels, allowing you to customise the appearance at any time without disturbing your spider.
Panels are magnetically secured and can be easily removed or swapped to refresh the enclosure design, adjust visibility, or suit different setups. This also allows for seasonal or aesthetic changes without replacing the enclosure itself.

Magnetic accessories compatibility
The addition of modular background panels introduces an extra layer of acrylic, which may reduce the holding strength of some magnetic accessories.
If your accessories are not strong enough to attach securely through the panel, we suggest the use of extender magnets between the enclosure and back panel. This will slightly increase the gap to facilitate attachment of your magnetic accessories.
Ensure all magnets are kept dry and free from moisture to maintain long-term performance.
Shipping and returns
Flat rate shipping of $25 applies to all orders containing up to two enclosures. If you require additional enclosures, please place a separate order.
We do not offer returns for change of mind. However, you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement if your item is faulty, not as described, or does not meet consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. Please refer to our Returns Policy for further information.
